Photography & Museum Collaborations

Christian specializes in striking visual narratives that bridge commercial elegance with profound cultural commentary. His lens documents the vanguard of shifting cultural landscapes, which has earned him prominent commissions within institutional spaces:

  • Sustainable Fashion Advocacy: He served as the primary campaign photographer for the pioneering “GROW: The Future of Fashion” exhibition at Amsterdam’s Fashion for Good Museum, capturing high-end biomaterial couture made by designers like Iris van Herpen.
  • Identity & Representation: While at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI), he executed a highly regarded visual research project interviewing 130 young Muslim women and photographing 80 subjects to explore the intricate relationship between Western fashion and the hijab.

Fine Art & Spiritual Philosophy

Beyond the camera lens, Christian is a dedicated physical painter whose abstract canvas works are deeply intertwined with his personal Christian faith. His approach to fine art balances modern aesthetics with theological reflection:

  • The Art of Renewal: His work focuses heavily on themes of transformation and redemption. He intentionally seeks out old, discarded, and forgotten canvases, layering them with acrylic paint to give them “new life”—creating a tangible, visual metaphor for spiritual healing and rebirth.
